Collaborate

Recently I attended a 3D printing meet-up as there is an element of 3D printing used in my businesses. I really admired the way the guys shared tips and tricks to create better products, and provide better service.

I could feel I was at the beginning of a wonderful new frontier in that room with a bunch of young and old nerds and geeks just doing it for the love of it (and to make a living of course). I wished my business could be that way. I’m passionate about connected technologies (the Internet of Things), and when seeing a new start-up in this area I often think “oh another competitor, and probably with more money”. But I realised that there is no reason to be that way, we can collaborate and share our ideas, putting our ideas out in to the world is how they spread and grow.
