Amazing pitches from the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy

I recently had the honour of sitting in the “dragons” chair at a PJEA event in Sheffield. 19 young entrepreneurs pitched some amazing ideas. From new social networks, bakery and craft ideas, to a very panel dividing idea on Yorkshire puds.

It was great to see young people looking to pursue their own business ideas instead of following the traditional routes to work. Forging your own path can be a life changing experience, especially if certain doors are closed off such as University, or apprenticeships with major corporates in skilled trades.

I hope to work with some of the guys and girls I met in the future, and look forward to seeing their business ideas flourish.
